WHAT IS REALITY?

If you know, we’d appreciate it if you’d tell us! But really, we think that in 'reality', music with vocals has much more 'emotional impact'!

HEY BROKE...WHY THE LOW RES DEMOS? DON'T THEY SOUND LIKE S*#T?
A.
Most online music demos are created low resolution to discourage "piracy". Now we know that no one that visits OUR site would stoop to such lows...(you're not a pirate ..are you Jack?) Another reason we do the low res file is that we want to allow you to hear the ENTIRE track...not just a thumbnail or clip. To make all the full songs available in full files would use up giant blocks of disk space. We didn't want to deal with THAT situation, so we decided to give you the high quality file when you're ready to download. I feel the true "professional" or real "music lover" would never be satisfied with the low res demo anyway. So enjoy the site! Send us your comments. Let us know what sorts of things you might like to hear in the future. We are always searching for...and producing new songs...so go "pouch" a few and don't worry. There's more where they came from.

I'D LIKE TO SUBMIT MY SONGS AND MUSIC TO BROKEN JOEY RECORDS. HOW WOULD I DO THAT?

Hi folks. Joe here. I'll take this one. You can email us an MP3 of a song (as in 1 song) that you feel BEST represents your music. We will give it a listen and let you know if we feel it fits with what we're trying to do. If it does, we'll let you know where to send your CD and contact info. Pretty simple, eh? Please allow at least 3 weeks for a response.

WHAT'S THIS "UNDERSCORE AVAILABLE" STUFF?
A.
If you do a search and you chose "underscore available", you will be shown songs that have matching instrumental tracks available. This can be very useful when editing our music to fit your visuals. Most of the songs available have underscores. Some of the authentic older stuff was produced before anyone thought that an underscore could be helpful....oh well.

I'M A PHOTOGRAPHER, AND I'VE LICENSED A SONG FOR A YEAR. HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE IT? DOES MY CLIENT HAVE TO PAY AGAIN IN A YEAR?

That's 2 questions!! You can use the song as many times as you want for as long as you like! Your client only pays "you" ONCE! By the way, this covers everything except 'broadcast use'. TV & Movie folks have a different 'deal'..
